Congratulations to our very own Roger Sinclair!
Roger was selected by the UPEI Alumni Association Board for a Distinguished Alumni Award in recognition of his career achievements and his many significant community contributions. The Distinguished Alumni Awards are the highest honour presented by the UPEI Alumni Association.
Roger is a founding partner of SBW Wealth Management. He has been providing advice to clients for over 40 years and holds a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. In 2011, Roger was nationally recognized with the prestigious Jack Hopwood Memorial Award, presented by Great-West Life, to a financial advisor in Canada who has played an outstanding volunteer role in his community. He has been a member of the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting (CALU) for more than 25 years. In 2015, he was invited to the board and served as Board Chair from 2019 to 2020. CALU represents the interests of approximately 13,000 financial advisors, and in turn, the interests of millions of Canadians.
Roger is an active fundraiser for the Brigadoon Children’s Camp Society and has previously served on its board. He is also a former member of the National Board of Directors for the Canadian Cancer Society. Additionally, Roger is a proud member of The Scots – The North British Society and is the past president of the Clan Sinclair Association (Canada).
We are incredibly proud of Roger’s accomplishments and feel fortunate to have such a dedicated and outstanding individual on our team and among our community.
